A mini Dobos/Caramel Torte

This is a very popular Hungarian dessert. It has layers of sponge cake, layered with chocolate butter cream filling topped with a layer of caramel with a glass like crunchy yet fine texture.

The Kids will love these fun and tasty cupcakes. Well, so will the adults. If I could get a hold of more food colouring, there would many more colours. Cupcakes make for great canvases and they are incredibly easy going ;) I don't think I've ever seen a cupcake that was too colourful or over the top.
